4. The NRE question — read this honestly
Pakistan's National Registration Examination is the single biggest risk factor for anyone studying medicine abroad. According to a Dawn report on the NUMS National Registration Examination held December 14, 2025 (results announced December 2025), the overall medical pass rate was about 25%. No destination — including China — makes the NRE easy. China offers a legitimate, affordable, English-medium path; it does not offer a shortcut. 5. How to apply from Pakistan
- Verify current PMDC recognition status (PMDC official website) and that CMU is on MOE China's authorized English-medium MBBS list.
- Prepare documents: FSc result, passport, photos, medical form, police clearance.
- Apply via the university's international portal or a verified application platform such as CUCAS.
- Receive Admission Notice + JW202 visa form → apply for the Chinese X1 visa at the Chinese embassy in Islamabad.
- Fly to Shenyang, register, and pay fees directly to the university.
